HOOKED ON: THE EVERYTHING BAGEL PEANUT BUTTER BY BUTTER BIKE CO

12 SEPTEMBER 2023
We recently discovered Butter Bike Co’s Everything Bagel Peanut Butter in our local deli, and we are HOOKED. Being massive peanut butter fiends, we certainly didn’t need another one to add to our substantial collection. With the release of Marmite’s peanut butter we felt like we had a savoury peanut butter option taken care of. Oh, how wrong we were.

This Everything Bagel peanut butter is infused with a medley of white and black sesame seeds, dried onion, sea salt, poppy seeds, dried garlic and black pepper, creating a blend of flavors and textures that is nothing short of perfect and incredibly addictive. To be perfectly honest, the hype there is around the Everything Seasoning would be seriously annoying, if it wasn’t for how good it is. The crunch ratio is ideal, and the salt, pepper sesame is superbly balanced. Then you’re hit with that gentle note of onion and garlic that lingers just long enough to make you reach out for more, immediately. In full transparency here, we literally eat this peanut butter on its own, by the spoonful.

Everything Bagel Peanut Butter by Bike Butter Co.
The story of Butter Bike Co starts out in 2017, when Jeni Reeve set out to make delicious, homemade peanut butter and chose to deliver it to customers locally, by bike around Winchester, Exeter. All of her peanut butters are made in small batches and contain no palm oil, refined sugars or anything nasty - just what we like. If you’re looking for nut butters that are a little different, you’ll be delighted to hear that there are more delightful flavours to try out: honey roast, smoked chilli, cinnamon raisin and chocolate.

But here's the catch - the culinary gem that is the Everything Peanut Butter is a limited edition release! Argg! If it wasn’t for limited cupboard space we would be considering stocking up for the foreseeable future. At this point, we may be genuinely starting a petition to keep that Butter Bike Co peanut butter flavour going. Want to join in?
