Before its inaugural use, wash your enameled cast-iron cookware with hot, soapy water. When it comes to cleanup, opt for hand washing. Steer clear of metal scouring pads or harsh cleaners—a gentle sponge and a good soak are your go-to tools. Always allow your pan to cool for a few minutes before washing.

For utensils, choose nylon, silicone, or wooden options for your pan. While metal utensils can be used, be cautious as repeated scraping or knocking against the coating may lead to enamel damage. Avoid using an electric mixer inside the pan, and refrain from cutting food inside the pan with a knife, as this can also harm the enamel.
