This Yogurt with Date & Walnut Butter is a delightful combination of creamy and crunchy. The velvety yogurt is topped with a generous drizzle of rich, sweet date and walnut butter. The contrast between the cool, tangy yogurt and the smooth, nutty butter is delightful moreish and couldn’t be simpler to make .

THE YOGHURT
400g Greek Yoghurt,
25g Walnuts, roughly chopped
THE DATE & WALNUT BUTTER
50g Dates, pitted
25g Walnuts,
75ml Water,
¼ tsp Ground Cinnamon
METHOD
DATE & WALNUT BUTTER
- Place the walnuts into a food processor and blitz until well broken down. Add the dates and ground cinnamon into the food processor and blitz with the nuts until it forms a smooth paste. Slowly add the water to to paste, blitzing as you go, until a loose nut butter is achieved.
THE YOGHURT
- Place the yoghurt into a large bowl and swirl in the date and walnut butter. Top with the roughly chopped walnuts and serve. This will be delicious served for breakfast or brunch with this citrus fruit salad and Moroccan pancakes.
